Privacy Policy

Effective date: February 17, 2026

MoveNow is built by Melodic Development. This policy describes how MoveNow handles your data.

The Short Version

MoveNow does not collect, transmit, or share any of your data. Everything stays on your device.

Data Stored on Your Device

MoveNow stores the following data locally on your Mac:

• Reminder settings — your preferred interval, time window, and active days.
• Activity log — timestamps and optional descriptions of activities you choose to log when responding to reminders.

This data is stored in your user directory and is not accessible to other applications outside the app sandbox.

Data We Do Not Collect

MoveNow does not:

• Collect personal information
• Send any data over the network
• Use analytics or tracking of any kind
• Access health, location, or motion data
• Sync data to any cloud service
• Contain any third-party SDKs or libraries

Permissions

MoveNow requests a single permission:

• Notifications — used to deliver move reminders. You can revoke this at any time in System Settings.

Changes to This Policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a new effective date.
