INTER:VALS is built so that your data stays yours. The short version: we collect nothing.
INTER:VALS does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any data. The app has no account system, no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party SDKs. It works entirely offline. Nothing you do in the app ever leaves your device.
With your permission, INTER:VALS reads your heart rate from Apple Health to display it during workouts, and writes finished workouts (duration, calories, and distance if tracked) back to Apple Health. This data is stored only on your device and in your personal Apple Health database, under Apple's protections. We never receive it, and it is never used for advertising or shared with anyone. You can revoke access at any time in the Health app under Sharing > Apps.
If you enable Track Distance for an outdoor workout, INTER:VALS uses GPS to measure distance and pace during that session only. Location data is processed on your device, stored only in your local workout history, and never transmitted anywhere.
All workout history lives on your device. You can erase everything at any time with Settings → Reset All Data inside the app, or by deleting the app.
If a future version of the app changes any of the above, this policy will be updated and the change noted in the App Store release notes before it takes effect.
